Got an e-mail the other day:
I am writing to you in the hope that you will publish another animal abuse issue. Please take a moment to watch this 2-1/2 minute You Tube video which takes place in Billings, Montana. This is not just about Penny and Joy and Love, but about all the volunteers that have given not only of their time, but their own funds to care for these dogs. By order of the District Court, the dogs are to be given priority placement with their volunteer handlers, but this is not the case. The NESR (National English Shepherd Rescue) is in charge of placing these dogs. Last week a busload of dogs were driving off from the Metra and within a few weeks, the remaining dogs will be bussed to Virginia.
Penny, who applied to adopt 4 dogs was not permitted to adopt any. Your attention to this puzzling matter would be greatly appreciated.
