Where will the fourth of july tea party be held in Billings. I attened the 4/15 one and I plan attending every local one possible

  21. John Stone on July 21, 2009 11:36 am

Not sure if anyone is monitoring this site but here goes: Has anyone thought about signs which could be put on lawns of private residents? Something like “NO NEW TAXES OR LEVI’S – IM’ A BROKEN TAXPAYER AND HOMEOWNER?” President Obama has sent “stimulus” money to states (Montana) with stipulations how it is to be spent “to hire new police and firemen”. This money lasts about a year after hiring several new public servants in each community. Then to fund the continued pay for these new employees the Cities and Counties must ask the taxpayers to pay the bill. We have a mail in ballot right now from Cascade County asking voters to authorze the city to exceed the statutory mill levy by permanently and annually levying additional mills to improve public service and fire-fighter safety by hiring and equipping additional personnel. I see signs all over town on lawns asking us to approve this request. Obviously there are liberal folks who have more money than the average homeowner who has been asked repeatedly to finance “more government”. The homeowner and taxpayers of America have had their backs broken and they are going broke trying to finance the liberal Republican “Stimulous” plan. We need to post our own signs saying NO to new taxes on property.

Baucas must go! for this entire nation, vote him out! I am in BILLINGS, GOD HELP US….

  23. Darby on September 15, 2009 10:49 pm

A great way to bring people together. Hamilton had their tea party tonight. September 15, 2009. (Tuesday) Hamilton Fairgrounds. Inside.
The speaker, Beckman was the best. It was educational, enlightening, and empowering to hear the real truth. We have to get it!
    It was great.
    Darby

  24. Darby on September 15, 2009 10:50 pm

Bacus is a virus and he must go… We can not have this kind of no representation for the people of this state. Remember the election is just around the corner.
    Darby

  25. Darby on September 15, 2009 10:57 pm

    Dear John Stone:
I think you have a gold mine here. If eachof us posted a sign on our lawns, it would “color” America. Every state, every home and apartment, condo, townhome and every garage.
Our message would get across. Hamilton, Ravalli County is killing it’s residence. People
can’t pay the tax bill for the big boys.
Start a site and have people sign in and tell the public they have just staked a sign in
their yard. “NO MORE TAXES” “GET RID OF THE FAT” “FIRE CONGRESS”
“YOGGIE BEAR CAN DO A BETTER JOB OF RUNNING THE COUNTRY”
    I LIKE YOU SUGGESTION.
    GO GET IT!

  26. Darby on September 15, 2009 11:00 pm

    Fred
Get with the real world. Our children and grandchildren are going to suffer bigtime due to
the many mistakes makde in the 4 years of Oboma.

  27. A on September 16, 2009 11:20 am

Baucus is really selling out Americans, Montana needs to put the hammer down on him. What kind of deal did he make with Obama.

  28. offgridmontana on October 4, 2009 11:01 am

Cool, you are using the same WordPress template as my Website. Anyways I moved to Montana expecting a lot of gun-totting libertarians, but instead was greeted with Obamanites and other liberal trash. What happened to Montana?

  29. Constance on October 13, 2009 7:59 pm

Re: Darby on September 15 Hamilton “tea party”. We went twice and finally asked one of the main workers if it was a tea party or townhall meeting. Answer was they were not either one, but were going under “Celebrating conservativism”. I, too, am looking for a confirmed tea party or town hall meeting in Hamilton. Any information out there?

  31. offgridmontana on November 1, 2009 6:42 pm

I was at the TEA Party Express today in Helena!!!!! Great to see libertarians, Libertarians, Conservatives, conservatives, and true Republicans still exist in Montana!

The following states have provision for recalling US Senators: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington and Wisconsin.

More information is available at http://www.ehow.com/how_2096900_recall-us-senator.html

I am going to attempt to get this information to as many Tea Party Groups in these states that have Democrat US Senators as I can. If a wide-spread recall movement can be quickly started this action will send a powerful message to all democrats.
I urgently solicit your help in getting this movement initiated toward completion by spreading the message to every one you know in any of the 17 states except GA and Idaho which have conservative senators.
And yes, I am starting this effort on Christmas Eve and will continue on Christmas day because I believe that has huge strategic potential if it is swiftly undertaken on a wide-spread basis.
New Jersey has already started a recall petition and Minnesota has started talking about it.
    Thank you and Merry Christmas,
    Carter Reames
