“Even reliably red Montana in play as Election Day looms”

Randy in Billings

It beginning to look like all the work and money the Obama campaign has been putting into Montana may be paying off for them.

CNN is reporting that the latest polls are showing that Montana has moved from “reliably for McCain” to a toss up between McCain and Obama.

It’s beginning to look like Sen. McCain received bad advice from the Montana Republicans “in the know” who told his campaign that Montana is reliably in the McCain camp and not to waste any time or money here.

Tuesday is looking more and more interesting all the time. Don’t forget to vote.

I wonder if McCain’s numbers really would be higher in Montana if he had stopped by here at least once…and in the year 2008, I’m baffled that he wouldn’t at least visited ONCE. If he loses Montana, will the next election see the same “overlooking” of Montana…?

I’m thinking that there may be quite a few Montana voters who may be getting tired of the GOP thinking we are always in the bag for them and not thinking our three electoral votes matter.

Montanans like to be left alone but they also don’t like to be taken for granted. Maybe this sentiment is what’s pushing the numbers this election.

Wow…how wonderful to see Montana turn blue! I’m not from Montana; I live in Oregon but I’ve been paying attention to the mid western states to see if any would vote for change and I am just uplifted this evening to see this magnificent state of Montana buck the trend a vote in the countries first Black President! Your state has shown courage and open mindedness and I thank you!!!
