Montana was mentioned in the debates, but it is only the Obama campain that care enough about the people in Montana to make the visits. At least he knows where the state is and what the people here are thinking.

montana's about to get real prominent in the news and not in a way that republicans will want; the NY times covered the voter challenge story yesterday and now that it has surfaced that the reporter chelsi moi who works for the missoulian was one of the voters challenged as well as Kevin Furey, officer in the national guard who is about to return for his third mission in Iraq. that got their attention. so look for for some bright tv camera lights to be sweating up the brows of Mr Jake Eaton and Mr Iverson real soon. CBS's 60 minutes is looking into it and making some preliminary phone calls.

Very cool about the state being so prominent in the debates!

You and your readers might also be interested in a voter education initiative I'm involved in, Your Candidates-Your Health, which asks presidential and congressional candidates for their views on health care, medical research and other related issues.

Both McCain and Obama have responded to our survey, at www.yourcandidatesyourhealth.org, and we have invited congressional candidates from your state. So far, two of the five candidates have responded from Montana.
