motherclinton.jpg Shaping up to be a busy few days in Montana: the “full court press” is on as candidates and proxies begin criss-crossing Big Sky Country to rally support for our last-in-the-nation primary on June 3. Hillary Clinton appeared in Pablo today; Bill Clinton will be appearing at several locations this weekend, including Stevensville, Great Falls, and Helena; and Barack Obama will be in Great Falls on Friday evening. Meanwhile, the Flathead Beacon has an interview with both Democratic candidates, the Liberal Wacko proclaims fealty to Obama, and a homeowner in Great Falls displays an unusual pro-Clinton sign.

And if you’d like to talk about the political campaign, you should give a listen tonight (Wednesday) to Montana’s very own “Small Town, Long Streets” call-in podcast, hosted by Craig of MT Politics.

This week, Small Town, Long Streets returns to its regularly scheduled 9:00 p.m. slot. On the agenda tonight: Obamagasms, the upcoming primaries, and whatever else rings our bell. Remember, this is a call-in program, so I encourage you to do so.

Other tidbits to get you in the mood for the primary: latest M-D poll shows Obama with a huge lead over Clinton; the view from Miles City; and the Montana division of Operation Chaos is up and running in an effort to keep the Dems in turmoil.

Whew. Promises to be an interesting – entertaining, even – several days!

I have a real concern, it is the Trinity Church of Christ. I went on that site, and the materials for church was not of any I have seen before. This is the Black Liberation Movement, and hate white group. The Pastor that Obama said was retired. He is still the Head Pastor. It is unreal! I just go to a mellow Luthern Church, this is real radical stuff. He went there 20 years, he must have known what they were teaching.

Pelosi, Dean, Reid, Kennedy, Kerry, Edwards and Obama, along with many other big-wig Dems are corrupting the Democratic Party.

It appears that the DNC is setting a new precedent:

YOU NO LONGER HAVE TO BE ON A BALLOT TO GET VOTES.

In Michigan, Barack Hussein Obama removed his name from the ballot, own choice, own reason, but hey…. That don’t matter because he is getting delegates and votes from the DNC who think it is fair to give him some even though he did not represent himself.

The morons who voted for this … Must be FIRED!!!!

We the people will vote AGAINST the corrupt DNC in November. If Obama is the nominee We will never vote for him. Our votes go to Sen. Clinton OR Sen. McCain, both are American patriots.
Had the biased media and DNC bigwigs told the truth about Obama BEFORE over half of America had voted — Obama would not be in this race.

A landslide loss for the DNC in November will teach the bastards a lesson about counting votes, and honoring the votes of the people. If they won’t listen to us — we won’t listen to them — vote them out of office as soon as possible.

WE DON’T NEED A RADICAL IN OUR WHITE HOUSE SPEWING HATRED AND “GOD DAMN AMERICA”.

GOD BLESS AMERICA AND DECENT, HONEST PEOPLE.

    NO OBAMA.

CITY OF BILLINGS MAYOR RON TUSSING HAS HAD FOUR ETHICS VIOLATION COMPLAINTS FILED AGAINST HIM WITH THE BILLINGS BOARD OF ETHICS
    by MONTANA NEWS ASSOCIATION

Billings Mt.,Aug 26, 2008–/MNA PRESS/–Billings Mayor Ron Tussing has had four ethics violations complaints filed against him, with the Billings Board of Ethics. A letter, signed by over 100 citizens, was sent to Judge Russell Fagg, in his capacity as Chair of the Billings Board of Ethics. The four complaints pertain to potential breaches of duty allegedly committed by Ron Tussing in his official capacity as mayor.

According to Montana Code Annotated 2-2-121, public officers are prohibited from using public time, facilities, equipment, supplies, personnel, or funds to solicit support for, or opposition to, local ballot issues. The letter to Judge Fagg outlines four potential issues, in which Ron Tussing may be in violation of Montana State law. Ron Tussing, in his official capacity of mayor, is a member of the Celebrate Billings steering committee and as such, actively campaigned for and supported the passage of the 2006 Billings Ballpark Bond Issue and the 2007 School District 2 Mill Levy. Mayor Tussing also campaigned against the 2006 Repeal of the 2004 Public Safety Mill Levy.

The complainants allege that Mayor Ron Tussing used Billings City time, facilities, equipment and supplies in support for, and opposition to, these ballot issues. The complainants attached over thirty (30) evidentiary exhibits, in support of their claims.

The Billings Board of Ethics will meet to review the complaints. The complainants have requested that all members of the board, who have been appointed by Ron Tussing, be recused from the review process. The complainants also have requested that Victoria Cech, whose husband serves on the Celebrate Billings Steering Committee with Ron Tussing, be recused, as well.

If the Board substantiates the complaints, the next step is to refer the complaints to the Yellowstone County Attorney’s office. The county attorney may then launch investigations into the alleged breaches of duty and fine Ron Tussing between $50 and $1,000, for each substantiated violation.

Ron Tussing is running against Brad Molnar for Public Service Commission District 2.
