Hi Michelle. I'm in Missoula and worked at UM for 10+ years until last Friday. (I quit to freelance.)

It's tough to find rentals that will allow pets. However, the rental market has opened up considerably in recent years as some big new complexes have been built.

Be sure to check the rental listings at the University Center's info desk, The Source. They are quite comprehensive. You will also find "for rent" and "housemate wanted" listings on bulletin boards near The Source, and you can put up one of your own.

Also, you might find something at Craig's List, in the Missoulian and the Missoula Independent.

Good luck!
