The Miss Montana 2007 Pageant is going on right now in Glendive. Young ladies from all corners of Montana are competing: Billings, Plentywood, Great Falls, Frenchtown, Dillon, Miles City, Lambert, and more. Here’s a list of all previous Miss Montana winners.

And did you know that Miss Montana 2006, Christie Hageman, has a blog? She documents her various public appearances and events, and recounts meeting a friend of her grandfather’s, a one-time Montana legislator – very cool.

UPDATE, SUNDAY MORNING: just spoke with a staff member at the Glendive Chamber of Commerce — Miss Montana 2007 is Kristen Mantooth of Lewistown! In 2006, Kristen was the First Runner-Up and also won the Talent portion of the competition, but this year she went all the way — congratulations to our new Miss Montana!
