Did you know, if you changed the county numbers based on current county population (which is the way they were set up in the beginning), they would look like this: (largest town listed, but based on county population):
New Town old
1 Billings 3
2 Missoula 4
3 Bozeman 6
4 Kallispell 7
5 Great Falls 2
6 Helena 5
7 Hamilton 13
8 Butte 1
9 Polson 15
10 Libby 56 (biggest change)
11 Havre 12
12 Livingston 49
*These are the MT counties over 15,000 population

Based on 2009 County Health Profiles.
Interesting how far west MT has the largest growth. Bozeman, Kallispell, and Hamilton have the biggest percentage growth since 2000.
