Montana is ranked as the 10th-Smartest State this year…which sounds great, until you realize that we ranked 4th last year, and 3rd in the year before that. I believe Lisa Simpson referred to this as “the dumbening.” Heh…

So, did we elect Schweitzer because we are getting dumber or because we want to stop the slide caused by the Stevens/Racicot/Martz regimes? ;-)
How’s that for a “turd in the punchbowl” type of question?
Montana is the state that gives everything away to the other 49 states. I mean our education system isn’t even properly funded for heaven’s sakes. Plus it takes a lot more for a teacher to come here from out of state than it is for a teacher here to go to others.
Silliness. At least we’re not New Mexico.
